Why Hound requests Google Cloud access

Google sign-in lets Hound list the projects and GKE clusters visible to your account, then obtain short-lived credentials for the cluster you select.

  • No Hound account or hosted proxy is required.
  • OAuth tokens are stored in the Apple Keychain on your device.
  • Cluster resources, logs, YAML, and credentials are not uploaded to Hound.
  • You choose the Google project, location, and cluster to add.
